Perkins, Ga. – Mr. Emory Rabitsch Sr., age 78, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Jenkins County Hospital.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired Dairyman and Farmer, for J. B. Gay & Son, an avid hunter and fisherman, and member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Rabitsch Sr., Rudolph Rabitsch, and Loren Rabitsch, sisters, Gladys Parker, Lillian Rabitsch, and Rosa Lee Yager.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with burial to follow at his residence.

Survivors include his, wife, Annie Suggs Rabitsch of Perkins; 3 daughters, Polly (Bill) Sipes and Tammy (Larry) Jenkins both of Millen, and Theresa Rabitsch of Perkins; 2 sons, Emory (Rachel) Rabitsch Jr. of Evans and Van Edward Rabitsch of Sylvania; 2 sisters, Dorothy Edwards of Statesboro and Mary McMillan of Millen, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Active Pallbearers will be Nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
