Mr. Edison Goodwin Harris, Sr., age 93, of Millen, GA went into the loving arms of his Savior and Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center, Augusta, GA.

He was born in Jenkins County and retired from the family farming business. His love of flowers had him planting rose bushes which he shared for many years with his church family and many events in Millen.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sara Helen Kurley Harris; a daughter, Rebecca (Tommy) Seigler, Dearing, GA; a son, Edison G. Harris, Jr. of Millen, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer (Titus) Waters, Adam (Leisa) Harris, Bo (Tiffany) Harris, Catie Chandler, Heather (Calvin) Smith; great-grandchildren, Beckett Waters, Sophia Harris, Zeke Chandler, Lizzie and Dominick Smith; and sister-in-law, Patricia Newsome along with several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Millen Cemetery with the Reverend John Drake officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bo Harris, Stephen Harris, Case Harris, Tommy Taylor and Mark Taylor.
