Obituary

Doy Hulsey, 74, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

He was born in Bulloch County, a truck driver for Millen Concrete, and member of Elam Baptist Church.
He was loved dearly by his nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Bobbie Hendrix and brother, T. C. Hulsey.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p. m. at the West Millen Baptist Church with Revs. Andy Allen and Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his 6 sisters, Linda (Kyle) Williams of Portal, Jackie (Jimmy Ray) Mercer of Twin City, Mary Jo Lane of Millen, Betty Joyce Stringer of Macon, Nita McClintock of Orlando, FL, and Billie Jean Hodges of Statesboro.

Active Pallbearers will be Rickey Dickey, Mike Chance, Mark Joyner, Ben Carroll, Bryan Lanier, and Ralph Chance.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Screven Masonic Lodge # 248 F&AM, and James Carlton Cowart, Bobby Hilderbrandt, Mike Adams, Ray Garvin, Dan Turner, Thomas Hughes, Kenneth Williams, W. T. Williams, David Thompson, Stanley Thompson, Junior Joyner, Wayne Cowart, and John Cleve Newton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. Saturday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
