Dorothy Owens Trapp, age 83, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at her home in Millen, GA. She was born in Jenkins County to the late James D. and Mamie Owens. She was retired from Planters EMC and a lifelong member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jason L. Williams, husband, Gary Trapp, parents, James D and Mamie Owens, brother, Richard Owens, brother-in- law, Johnny Johnson, niece, Rhonda J Stokes and nephew, Scott W. Johnson.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Ann Johnson, niece, Tiffany Johnson-Gay (Matthew), great niece, Elaina Johnson, and extended family Butch and Kelly Burke, Shelby Lee (Josh), Shae Sherfesee (Kyle), Case Burke (Savana), Sharon Johnson, Rusty Sammons, Pam Sammons, Linda Rosier, Tina Sammons and many adopted great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Butch Burke, Case Burke, Josh Lee, Kyle Sherfesee, Mark Lane, and Anthony Cerbo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Big Horse Creek Baptist Church with Eddie Conway officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.
