Mrs. Dorothy Dickey Owens, age 88, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice following a short illness.

She was born in Jenkins County, was a retired supervisor for Thomson Company after 45 years, and was a member of West Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil David Owens

Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 p. m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p. m. at West Millen Baptist Church with Revs. Andy Allen and Ray Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn (Ronald) Joyner; a brother, Ernest (Jeanette) Dickey; and a sister, Nell (O. G.) Penner.

Active Pallbearers will be Alvin Burke, Chester Joyner, Jonathon O'Connor, Bryce Joyner, Larry Thompson, and Stacey Garvin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Ladies One Sunday School Class.
