Dorothy Perry Lindsey passed away peacefully Thursday , September 26, 2024 at her residence. She was raised in Girard , Ga. but lived most of her life in Millen. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she served faithfully for decades and recently attended Connection Church Millen with her family. She worked in the medical field for 43 years and was employed by Optim Health as a Referral Specialist.

Dorothy enjoyed her job and she loved helping others greatly. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow. She enjoyed giving away plants to others and helping her friends with their flowers. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She especially loved her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Brantley Perry and Eva Mae Perry

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years Darrell, her sons, Jeremy, (Sabrina) of Millen and Brandon (Amber) of Portal; 6 grandchildren, Blake, Aiden, Kirsten, Jase, Paycen and Abby; 3 sisters, Daisy Harley of Girard, Zelphia (Wendel) Finch of Sylvania and Wanda (Phil) Rhodes of Millen; 1 Brother, George Perry of Girard; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Josh Lindsey, Brad Chandler, Russ Taylor, Michael Hendrix, Brantley Harley, Jeff Adams, Jet Wilson, Jackie Kernigan

Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Baptist Church Monday, September 30th at 2:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Pastors Joshua Johnson and Jeremy Lindsey will be officiating the service.
