Mrs. Doris Saxon Wilson, age 83, died Monday, February 16, 2015.
She was born in Jenkins County, was a homemaker, and was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and May Bell Saxon; husband, James A. Wilson; daughter, Melinda Wilson; and brother and sister, Walter and Zelma Saxon.

Visitation will start at 1:00 p. m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jamie Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery

Survivors include her nephew and great nieces, Donnie (Ann) Saxon; Angie (Glenn) Wilkerson, Tammy (Chris) Cranshaw, and Lynn (Daniel) Brinson; 8 great great nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Gloria Bargeron.

Pallbearers will be Ed Wilson, Bobby Hilderbrandt, Don Burke, Ronnie Fleming, Chris Cranshaw, Glenn Wilkerson, Daniel Brinson, and Larry Fleming.
