Diane Kent Wade, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 19 2024 at her residence.

She was born February 13 1942 in Millen Ga, she worked for thirty years as an educator in various locations from Jacksonville Florida to Anchorage AK finally settling in Dekalb County Ga where she worked at Southwest Dekalb High School and retired from there in 1996.

In 2000 she returned to Millen with Julian where she became active in Garden Club, Woman's Club, Friends of Magnolia springs and to Millen Baptist Church.

Visitation 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Millen Baptist Church; Funeral at 3:00 pm at Millen Baptist Church with Burial to follow in the Millen Cemetery, Rev. Brad Asbury officiating.

Diane is survived by her husband Julian; son Patrick (Dana); and brothers Bill, David (Sheila) and Steven.

Flowers are welcome but donations to Millen Baptist Church, Paws Atlanta or your favorite animal rescue are also appreciated.
