Diane Burke Clayton, 54, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at her residence after a long illness.

She was born in Richmond County, was a homemaker, and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Clayton.


Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Community Worship Center on Virginia Ave. in Millen with Rev. Roy Jarriel officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Murdock, Freddie Murdock, Mathew Davis, Jr., Don Taylor, Greg Joyner, Al Perkins, and Jerry Taylor.

She is survived by her, 2 daughters, Crystal (Randy) Bragg of Ypsilanti, MI and Diana Ballard of North Carolina; her mother, Patricia M. (Jimmy) Pye of Millen; a sister, Susan B. Hall of Portal; and 3 brothers, Michael (Sherri) Burke of Canoochee, Danny Burke, and Tommy Burke Jr. of Portal.
