Mr. DeRoy Dailey, age 89, died Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta.

He was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County, retired Supervisor for Jockey International and dedicated member of Elam Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and on the building and grounds committee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Louisiana Dailey, his sister Juanita Dasher and his wife of 64 years, Erlene Dailey.

Survivors include his son DeRoy Dailey, Jr. (Kim) of Martinez, Grandson Alex Dailey (Kristen) of Evans, Granddaughter Abbey Gault (Hunter) of Thomson and Great Granddaughter Harper Dailey. Also surviving are his siblings; Frankie Sapp (Richard), Betty Gay (Dobbie), Linda Mincey, Alton Dailey (Shirley), Bobby Dailey and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Elam Baptist Church with a viewing prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm.
