Mrs. Deborah Melissa Gordy, born Feb 15, 1974, age 50, entered into the arms of Jesus peacefully Friday, September 06, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro after an extended illness.

Melissa was a wonderful Christian mother, daughter, sister and wife to all. She will be deeply missed. She is where she belongs in heaven with her Savior.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Roberts Dailey and her first husband Kevin Myers.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Asbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Gordy; son, Casey Myers (Christina); grandson Joshua Myers; father, Bobby R. Dailey; sister, Sandra  Youmans (Brent) and Emma Grace ; and brother, Rex Dailey (Lorne) and Dallon and Kallie Dailey.

Active Pallbearers will be Dobbie Gay III, Shane Sapp, Matt Roberts, Jay Clarke, Dee Dailey, and Wes Dosher.
