David Frank Williams died at the age of 94 following a brief illness.  He was born on October 21, 1931 in Emanuel County near Garfield, GA.  He was the second son of Gordon Newton Williams, Sr. and Levonia (Donie) Bennett Williams.

He retired from farming and gardening which was his love.  He adored his nephews and niece and enjoyed spoiling them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Newton Williams, Jr.; brother-in-law, James D. Zimmerman and niece, Lucinda Ann Zimmerman.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Lee Williams Zimmerman, Midville, Ga; two nephews, Charles M. Zimmerman (Kim) of Midville, GA and Walton D. Zimmerman (Sheila) of Evans, GA; niece, Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Zimmerman Stanford (Jonathan), Savannah, GA; four grand nephews, Jacob, Matthew, Andrew and Samuel Zimmerman, Evans, GA; one grand niece, Kristen Callahan Crisswell (Garrett) and one great grand nephew, Rylan Crisswell.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1593 Mt. Olivet Church Rd, Garfield, GA.
