Mr. David Shawn Lanier, 50, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in East Hartford, CT, but had lived in Jenkins County most of his life, he was an Army National Guard veteran, a die technician for Milliken, and member of Elam Baptist Church.

He was precede in death by his parents, Calvin and Pauline Lanier.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine "Kathy" Fail Lanier, 2 daughters, Madison Lanier and Brittney Vickers; 2 sisters, Brenda Ardito (Vincent) of North Haven CT and Sandra McKinney (Greg); a brother, Bill Lanier; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Irick and Gage Irick; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at Crowe Fields Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a meal to follow at Millen Community House, 517 Cleveland Ave., Millen, GA.
