David Walter Arthur passed away February 23, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was raised by the late James and Ema Belle Arthur.

David was a truck driver for 40 years.  He loved meeting new people and he never met a stranger.  The joy of David's life was his family and he loved spending time with his grandkids and his great-grands.  He loved to take them out to eat and one of his favorite things to do was eat watermelon out the back of his truck with them.  He was the best father that Tracy and Terry could have ever ask for.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ema Belle Arthur; sister, Kathy Peaster; his brothers, Thomas Richard Lovett and Danny Arthur.

Survivors include his sister, Brenda Arthur; brothers, Earl (Wendy) Burke and Ronnie Arthur; daughter, Tracy Arthur; son, David (Terry) (Victoria) Arthur; grandchildren, Brianna (Jake) Ports, Lani Lancaster, Tiara Brackin; great-grandchildren, Blake Ports, Jax Lancaster, Adalyn Brackin and Drake Brackin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Burch, Bobby Dickey, Wayne Cowart, Mr. Earl Burke, Charlie Burch, Cody Burch, Mickey Joyner, Jake Ports, J. J. Lockett and Austin Brackin.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at The Millen Cemetery with the Reverend Butch Taylor officiating.   Visitation will be at the cemetery beginning at 12:00 PM until time of service.
