Darrell Hugh Lewis, age 66, passed away October 15, 2025, at Pruitt Health-Peak in Macon Georgia. He was a resident of Hawkinsville, GA.

Darrell was born July 20,1959 in Millen, GA, where he graduated from Jenkins County High School.  He also obtained certification from the American Bankers Association.  Darrell was a long-time employee of Belk in Statesboro, GA. Darrell loved to frequent thrift stores and antique stores, collecting meaningful pieces over the years that he proudly displayed in his home.  He was an avid reader and loved all the classic movies. The memories he helped create will be cherished and he will be missed by both family and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Beatrice Lewis.

He is survived by his sister, Terri (George) McMillan, of Summerville, SC; nephew Cole McMillan of Summerville, SC; niece Payton (Matthew) Fullwood of Great Falls, Montana, three great nephews and multiple cousins.

At the family's request, there will be no service at this time.
