Mr. Darrell R. Leopard, Sr., age 49, died Tuesday, January 10 2017 at his residence following a long illness.

He was born in Lavonia, GA, was a retired heavy equipment operator for Walmart Distribution in Statesboro, and was a Methodist.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a. m. at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with Rev. Dusty Wommack officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p. m. in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins, GA with Rev. David Lamm officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Moser Leopard; 6 children, Christina Oliver and Brad Michael Leopard of Sardis, Darrell R. "DJ" Leopard, Jr. of Maryland, Michelle Mosley of Statesboro, Casey Lockley (Zane) of Claxton and Addison Redd of Collins; his mother, Grace Ann Amerson of Sylvania; 2 sisters, Arlene Zipperer (Baldie) and Connie Lewis (Steve) of Sylvania; and 4 grandchildren, Dylan Oliver, Trenton Lockley, Annabelle Lockley, and Lillian Lockley.

Active Pallbearers will be Brandon English, Josh Zipperer, Norbert Tobias Jr., Billy Overstreet, Jimmy Overstreet, and Kenny Overstreet.
