Obituary

Daniel Page Mihill, 63, of Millen, GA, a Nuclear Instructor at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant and a Marine, died Sunday morning at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dan was born June 30, 1961, in West Palm Beach, FL, son of Ruth and Hank Mihill. He was a member and Deacon at Oak Hill Baptist Church. During his career in the nuclear industry, he worked in many locations throughout the east coast of the United States and in Abu Dhabi. He also traveled to many areas on mission trips. Both allowing him to spread his love for Jesus around the world. Dan enjoyed being with his family and praying with everyone, family and strangers alike.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Guffey.

The family will receive friends at Oak Hill Baptist Church, 3233 Oak Hill Church Road, Millen, GA, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday afternoon. The funeral will follow at 3:00 in the Sanctuary of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Mihill; three daughters Brandi Mihill of Summerville, SC, Brittani Kennedy and her husband, Lee, of Moncks Corner, SC, Danielle Eubanks, and her husband, Steve, of Midland, PA; two sons Josh Mihill and his husband, Richard, of Bartow, FL, and Justin Mihill of Moncks Corner, SC; his sister, Audrey Bowers and her husband, Warren, of Safety Harbor; ten grandchildren, Garrett, Catherine, Carmen, Carolina, Madalyn, Colton, Skyler, Isla, Emilia, and Weston; and many loving aunts, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo Street, Statsboro, GA 30459.
