Born and raised in Millen, Georgia, Dana Lang Edenfield was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County and never had any intentions of living anywhere else. He passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee on October 30, 2025 under home hospice care.

Dana proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, 11th Special Forces Airborne. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. His family meant the world to him. He loved camping, fishing, and most of all, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs- Go Dawgs! Sic 'Em!

Dana was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. Edenfield and Audrey Steed Edenfield; his wife, Daisy Jo Edenfield; and his brothers, Thomas Edenfield and Sonny Edenfield.

He is survived by his daughters, Dina (Mark) Keller and Deirdre Edenfield; grandchildren, Zach (Cammy) Keller, Peyton Keller, and Stephanie (Michael) Grennan; great-grandchildren, Scottie Jo Keller, Sloane Grennan, and Brooks Grennan; and his sister, Yvonne (Casey) Johnson — along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2025 at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Joshua Johnson officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), or the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Dana will be remembered for his kind heart, strong faith, love of family, and his unwavering pride in his home and country.
