Mr. Claude "Danny" McKinney, 57, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at University Hospital in Augusta.

He was born in Jenkins County, a machine operator for King Finishing Co., and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Dailey McKinney; 2 daughters, Kristie McKinney and Michele McKinney; his mother, Feddie Mae Burke McKinney; a sister, Inez McKinney Doyle; and 3 grandchildren, Dakota McKinney, Daniel Smith, and Ivy Smith all of Millen.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
