Charles Wayne Joiner, 71, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro.

He was born in Jenkins County, retired from Maintenance at Claxton Poultry and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Diana F. Joiner of Register; a daughter, Deanna Matthews of Gum Branch; 2 sons, David Joiner (Tonya) of Tarrytown and Darrel Joiner of Reidsville; 3 step children, Joel Sikes and Jerremy Sikes of North Dakota and Rebecca Sikes of Pooler; 3 sisters, Margie Paulson of Reidsville, Mary Joiner of Vidalia, and Jimmie Williams of Millen; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with visitation starting at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
