Charles Edward Saxon Sr. , fondly known as "Sac" passed away Wednesday, June 19 at his residence.

He was born to Wilton Saxon and Evelyn Myers's, on May 10th, 1946, in Ocala, Florida. A long time resident of Millen, Georgia. He was a trucker and a long time handyman and friend of the late Bobby Womack. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.

He loved fishing of any kind, banana pudding, his 12 year old dog Zorette, but he mostly loved spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents Wilton Saxon and Evelyn Myers, and his brothers Richard Saxon and Clarence Saxon.

Charles' loving spirit is carried on by his son Charles Saxon Jr. "Bubba"(Hannah); his daughters Melissa Trafficanti, Melinda Rich (Earl), Glenda Bowen, Shannon Williamson (Joseph Williamson), Paula Frahm (Ryan); his cousins Hub-a-Dub and Emma Bryant; his long time friend Glenda Burke; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

To honor Charles' memory, visitation will be Monday June 24, 2024, 6pm-8pm, at Crowe Fields Funeral home. We will lay him to rest Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11am graveside at Paynes Chapel, Millen Ga.
