Charles F. Bragg, age 81, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

He was born in Jenkins County, a U. S. Army Reserve veteran, served as a Jenkins County Commissioner for 22 years, serving several terms as Chairman, and was Treasurer of Green Fork Baptist Church. He was a former Jaycee and Magnolia Country Club member.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, William H. "Tom" Bragg, Alexander "Buddy" Bragg, Robert H. "B H" Bragg, Annie Mae Spikes, Geneva Spikes, Johnny Bragg, and Wendell Bragg.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Green Fork Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Dann and Ray Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating at the grave.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be King Rocker, Murray Taylor, Ray Roberts, Henry Young, David Adams, Dean Dailey, Mathew Rocker, Jody Bowers, George Gunn, and Larry Cobb.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Green Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hargrove Bragg, 2 nephews, Mitch Sikes and Chad Pitts, a brother, Walter (Velma) Bragg all of Millen, and several other nieces and nephews.
