Mr. Charles "Charlie" Black, 83, of Augusta, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at University Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Millen, GA, a U. S. Air Force veteran, retired from International Paper as a machine operator, and was a member of Millen United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherry Black; children, Charles W. Black, Jr. (Melissa), Russel G. Black (Shelby), and Bradley Black all of Augusta; his grandchildren, Austin Black, Christopher Black, Wesley Allen Black, and Atlas Black.
