Charles Edward Avret, age 80, of Augusta, Georgia passed away on June 13, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital after a brief illness.

He was a retired insurance agent for Cotton States Insurance Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dozier Lee Avret and Della Parnell Avret and brothers Randal L. Avret and Walter Floyd Avret.

Survivors include sons, Michael Avret of St. Louis, MO and Chris Littleton of Augusta, GA; one granddaughter; sisters, Wilma Mims and Elizabeth Avret of Waynesboro, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Berlin United Methodist Church in Hephzibah, GA.
