Mr. Charles "Chuck" Carswell, 79, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Augusta.

He was born in Nashville, TN, was a United States Air Force veteran, the resident engineer for the Augusta Housing Authority, a member of Screven Lodge #248 F&Am and Alee Temple Shrine Club.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Millen Cemetery with Masonic Honors.

Visitation will be after the service.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey F. Carswell; son Charlton Carswell of Evans; daughter-in-law, Donna Carswell; 3 grandchildren, Charlton Alfred Alexander Carswell II, Caroline Elizabeth Carswell, and Jessica Brown; and 3 great grandchildren, Wes and Laylee Lopez, and Trey Brown.
