Charlie Wasden, 71, entered into rest Friday, March 8, 2024, at home after his battle with cancer.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Millen, Georgia. Charlie was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. He was always devoted and faithful to his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and kindness. Charlie was a social man known for connecting with people and creating lasting friendships. He enjoyed many activities, including fishing and traveling with his family to the mountains. He enjoyed driving his truck whether it was for work or hauling peanuts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. Wasden, Sr. and Mary Wasden.

Charlie is survived by his wife Diane Wasden; three daughters, Tara Kim (Paul), Chrissy Jenkins (David), Tiffany Wasden; four stepchildren, Christina Coleman, James Coleman (Iris), Ashely Vanacore, Nick Dudarenke; grandchildren Karsyn Posey, Kaylie Posey, Karaline Posey, Jackson Jenkins, Ray Kim, Cooper Kim, Cierra Royal (Tyson), MaKenzie Coleman, Hunter Kelly, Bryce Clifton, Liberty Vanacore, Emily Vanacore, Tyler Vanacore, Isan Coleman, Junior Coleman; two great grandchildren Tyson and Dani; Four brothers and sisters, Beth Wasden-Wicks (Dean), William T. Wasden, Jr. (Kim) Mary Wasden Fedyshyn (Jim), and George Wasden and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Millen Cemetery on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Revs. Brad Asbury and Cam Wiggins officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Walter Bragg, Kenny Clark, Sawyer Collins, Timber Collins, Junior Joyner, Mark Thomas Wasden, William Ray Wasden, William T. Wasden III, and Horace Weathersby.
