Mrs. Burnease Hickman Lane, age 86 died Friday, July 20, 2018 at Ogeechee Hospice in Statesboro.

She was born in Screven County, had been a training supervisor for Thomson Company, a retired executive assistant for Millen Motor Company and a member of the Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday from 12:30 pm until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm at Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. E. T. Taylor and Virgil Badie officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, a son, Emory L. Lane, Jr. (Tonya) of Calhoun; 2 grandchildren, Levi Lane and Ella Lane; 2 sisters, Helen H. Reddick and Dorothy H. Glisson; and brother, Mike Hickman Sr.

Active Pallbearers will be nephews, Jerry Reddick, Tyler Lane, Don Glisson, Mike Hickman Jr., Stan Hickman, Joey Reeves, and John Lane.
