Mr. Bobby Oglesby entered into rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.

He was born in Jenkins County, had worked as a truck driver for Embler Door Co. as well as a diesel mechanic for Ryder Trucks. He later operated Bobby's Garage and repaired big trucks and operated a wrecker service.

He and his grandson Wes enjoyed working together doing local heavy equipment work as Eagle Construction. He spent his last few years "piddling" with whatever projects he wished to do. He was a member of West Millen Baptist Church and Higher Call Builders.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Wilson Oglesby, parents, Lindsey and Kitty Bell Oglesby, brothers, A. J., Albert "Mutt", and Lindsey Oglesby, Jr.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Friday at West Millen Baptist Church with Revs. Perry Hearn and Kevin Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Cricket Miller; a son, Billy E. (Jessie) Cates of Spencerport, NY; grandchildren, Wes (Crystal) Lee, Courtney Miller (Will Burke), Lisa (John) Funseth, and Shelby (Dave) Stenson; 5 great grandchildren, Gabe Lee, Jack Lee, Harley Burke, Riley Funseth, and Emery Funseth; a sister, Kate Baxley of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Hilderbrandt, Jimmy Coker, Jon Lee, Walter Daniel, Joe Wilson, Sr., Eddie Hodges, Ronnie Arthur, and Leon Burch.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Staff of Popeye's, Dairy Queen, and Huddle House including friends with whom he enjoyed laughter and meals with.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
