Mrs. Betty Hargrove Bragg, age 78, died Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Ga.

Born May 11, 1947, she was the daughter of Edward Hargrove and Clara Sapp Hargrove. She was a life-long resident of Jenkins County and a member of Green Fork Baptist Church. She was employed by the Jenkins County Hospital for over 25 years.  Betty loved her church family and the people she worked with.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 40 years, Charles Bragg and sister, Edna Sikes.

Survivors include her nephews, Mitchell Sikes, Chad Pitts and brother-in-law, Walter Bragg.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Green Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Fields and Jess Sadler officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Murray Taylor, Ray Roberts, Tyler Sikes, Dylan Sikes, Dale Wiggins and Henry Young.
