Bessie Lewis Snider, 96, died January 23, 2018 after an extended illness.

She was born in Richmond County, GA and lived most of her life in Jenkins County, GA. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Snider.

She was a former director of Queensborough National Bank, member of the Georgia Council of Flower Show Judges, an accredited flower show judge, Georgia State Garden Club member, member of the Magnolia Garden Club, Millen Women's Club, Millen Rose Society, Millen Chinettes, Georgialina Porcelain Art Club in Augusta, GA and a member of Joy Sunday school class at Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walker, Bobby, Charles Lewis and a sister Agnes Lewis Boulineau.

Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce S. Andrews (Pierce) of Conyers, GA and Martha S. Brinson of Millen, GA; two granddaughters, Allison T. Andrews of Conyers, GA and Leigh Anne Yeary Binz (Trae) of San Antonio, TX; two great grandchildren, Addyson Yeary Binz and Kayson Ryan Binz of San Antonio, TX. She also has two surviving siblings, Leroy Lewis of Louisville, GA and G.I. Lewis of Augusta, GA.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be held at Crowe Fields Funeral home on Friday, January 26 ^th from 6 to 8pm.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, January 27 ^th at Millen cemetery with Reverend Tommy Pulliam and Reverend Maurice Crowder officiating.
