Mrs. Bernice Godbee Fleming, age 87, entered into eternal rest on March 24, 2016.

Mrs. Fleming was born in Burke County to the late Leslie and Lillian Sharpe Godbee, but spent most of her life in Jenkins County. She was retired from the Georgia Department of Mental Health and a member of the Fair Haven United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her husband, James Fleming and son, Jimmy Fleming.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Millen Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Larry Fleming and Johnny (Kay) Fleming of Millen and Jeff (Kim) Fleming of Dawsonville; 2 sisters, Victoria Hudson of Savannah and Gail (Paul) Davis of Grayson; 2 brothers, Wendell Hall of Augusta and Charles Hall of Girard; 7 grandchildren, Brent, Julie, Jennifer, Jason, Mitch, Kayley, and Cody; 8 great grandchildren, Kylie, Kason, Logan, Brody, Brook, Mason, Kinley and Ellie.
