Mrs. Barbara Jean Williams, 89, died Friday, March 31, 2023 at her residence.

She was born in Tattnall County, a retired seamstress for Twin City Manufacturing Company and a member of Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Williams, son Freddie Powell, and daughter, Dianne Powell.

Visitation will be Sunday at 1:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Gene Fail officiating.

Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons, Eddie D. Powell (Judy) of Millen, Ronald Wilkes (Melissa) and John Futch  both of Vidalia; 2 daughters, Tabatha Kitchens and Kimberly Johns of Vidalia;  a sister, Jewel Knowles (Harold) of Green Cove Springs, FL and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alex Wilkes, Ben Wilkes, Rooster Knowels, Matt Rushing, and Lavon Fails.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen is in charge of arrangements.
