Mrs. Barbara Amanda Thompson Hargrove, age 84, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019.

She was born in Screven County to Thomas Allen and Myra Kimbrell Thompson.

After she married her husband Robert Earl she moved to Millen where she devoted her life to caring for her family and enjoying the company of her friends. She was a homemaker but had worked at both Wilson Company and Planters Electric and was a member of the Green Fork Baptist Church.

Barbara was preceded in death in addition to her parents, her husband, Robert Earl Hargrove and brothers, Raymond, Haymond, Roger, and Heyward Thompson, and sister, Inez Parkerson.

Survivors include her two sons, Leonard Earl Hargrove and Rickey Allen (Ronda Michelle) Hargrove both of Millen; and 2 grandchildren, Dylan Allen Hargrove and Kasie Ann (Joseph) Kennedy and sister-in-law, Margene Thompson. She also left behind 18 nieces and nephews.
