Audrey May Fluck Carswell passed from this life on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the age of 82 in Millen, GA. A native of Easton PA, she was born May 19, 1939 to Frederick Abner Fluck and Margaret May Rapp Fluck. She is also preceded in death by her sister Judith Ann Fluck and her loving husband of 55 years, Mr. Charles Alton "Chuck" Carswell.

Audrey was raised in Pennsylvania, graduated from Anderson College, where she met Chuck, who was attending Clemson A&M. After college, he joined the Air Force for four years and she was a loving and supportive military wife. After Chuck's service in the Air Force and a number of years living in South Florida, the couple ended up in Millen where they enjoyed the next 47 years. Audrey was Lutheran and had a strong faith in God. She was a member of the DAR and DAC. She enjoyed reading, decoupaging, coloring, Clemson football and being on FaceTime with her granddaughter, Caroline. Audrey worked most of her life in administrative positions and retired in 2001 from the Georgia Southern University, where she worked in the Campus Recreation and Intramural department; a job she thoroughly enjoyed. The family wishes to thank her friends and her caregivers who have given so much of their time and love in assisting her over these last few difficult years.

Mrs. Carswell is survived by her son, Charlton A. A. "Chaz" Carswell and his wife, Donna, of Evans GA.; grandchildren Jessika Ann Martin (Trent); Caroline Elizabeth Carswell and Charlton Alfred Alexander "Alex" Carswell, great grandchildren Laylee Ann Lopez, Weston Ray Lopez and Micah D. 'Trey' Brown, III.

Burial will be in the Millen Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
