Annelle M. Dickey, age 87, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.

A lady of vibrant spirit and distinct creative style, Annelle left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A life of creativity and faith, Annelle was a true artist of the Natural world and a maker of many smiles of those who had the opportunity to be blessed with one of her very own beautifully decorated cakes or assorted sweets.  A talented cake decorator and gifted painter, she had the rare ability to turn the ordinary into something beautiful.  Her legendary "green thumb" meant that any flower or tree she planted thrived under her care.  Above all, Annelle's life was anchored by her amazing relationship with her Father in Heaven, love for her family and friends and her devotion to her church.  Her legacy and greatest pride was her family.

Annelle is survived by her sister, Gwen Lindsey and her three cherished daughters; Melodye Williams (Buford), Harriet Cato and Beverly Joiner (Grady). The true "sparkle in her eyes" was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her memory lives on through her grandchildren; David Cato (Svetlana), Jeremy McBride (Amy), Anna Allen (Michael), Justin McBride (Tara), Amee Williams (Jason Everette).  Also, her life's greatest treasures and legacy were her great-grandchildren, Eden Allen, Sydali Williams, Carson McBride, Indie Williams, Georgia Grey McBride and Opie Williams.

A Heavenly reunion waiting to welcome Annelle into Heaven was her husband of almost 70 years, Melvin Dickey. She was also preceded in death by her mother, LaNeth Rowen, father, Harold Moore, stepfather, Pete Rowen, brother, Harold Moore Jr. and her beloved twin sister Lynelle Lassiter.

While she will be missed dearly, her family takes great comfort in knowing she is now with Jesus and Daddy.  We so look forward to the day we see her sweet smile once again.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 13, 2026 at Millen Baptist Church with the Reverend Brad Asbury officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Interment will follow at the Millen Cemetery.
