Ms. Angie Mulkey Gay, age 81, died Friday, November 8, 2019.

Born in Jenkins County to Arnold and Victoria Mulkey, Angie spent most of her life in Millen. She was a graduate of Jenkins County High School and Auburn University.

After her children were grown she enjoyed working again at the Medical College of Georgia, and in recent years was employed by Optim Medical.

Angie was an extraordinary gardener who loved nothing more than working in her yard with her dogs.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Millen Cemetery. Visitation immediately following the service.

She is survived by her 2 sons, H. Kyle Gay (Anita) and Troy Gay (Jenni); 2 daughters, Melanie Gay and Tiffany Gay Varnadoe (Stephen); Grandchildren, Sable, Heather, Morgan, Hannah, Caleb, Taylor, Emily, and Ashlyn; and 2 great grandchildren, Brendyn and Asher; and many beloved pets.
