Mr. Alfred Lee Carter, 79, died Thursday, August 4, 2011.
He was born in Williamson, WV, a retired truck driver, and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Carter of Columbus, OH; a granddaughter, Malinda Lou Ann Dillon; four grandsons, Patrick (Anita) Dillon, Robert Hunter Jr., Joshua (Ashley) Hunter, and Charlie Monroe West Jr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Carter and daughters, Particia and Mary Lou.
Active Pallbearers will be the men of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be one hour immediately prior to the service.
Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen in charge of arrangements.
