It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Albert O'Brien Linder Jr. Brien was a family man, pharmacist, and life-long resident of Millen GA.

Brien was born in Savannah, GA on January 9th, 1961. He was a 1979 graduate of Jenkins County High School, he received his Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University in 1981, and his Pharmacy degree in 1984 from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Brien practiced as a pharmacist in various settings over his 30+ year career. Brien provided his hometown of Millen with the best of care at Linder Pharmacy for close to 10 years. During the time he owned Linder Pharmacy he treated each of his customers like family, and he enjoyed serving his community in that capacity. Brien was most recently the pharmacist for Medical Associates Plus in Wrens, GA.

He was an active member of Millen Methodist Church where he taught the Discovery Sunday school class for 15 years. Over the years Brien was actively involved in the Emmaus community and played a large part in bringing The Walk to Emmaus to the Tattnall Campgrounds.

Brien was a loving and caring husband and father. He loved spending time at home with his family, relaxing by the pool, working in the garden, and enjoying time with his grandchildren. More than his accomplishments, and leisure Brien loved the Lord and his life was a true testament to that.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Marjorie Linder.

Survivors are his wife of almost 40 years Cindy; his children Jamie (Jacob) Wilkinson of Vidalia;  Seth Linder of Millen; grandchildren Brooks (6) and Blakelynn (4); brother Dan (Lynn) Linder of Millen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, April 18 at Crowe Fields Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at Millen Methodist Church Friday April 19th at 3:00pm with burial to follow in Millen Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Don Burke, David Gunn, Tim Fields, Josh Linder, Tyson Royal, and Benny Wilkinson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of  Millen Methodist Discovery Sunday School Class
